Step 1. Log onto http://passports.go.ug

Step 2. Go to the fourth box ‘Check Application Status’

Step 3. Input your Application Number (W000......), Your Date of Birth, and your Surname

 

The Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration Control (DCIC) acknowledges complaints and allegations from various sources that have been trending on Social Media regarding mistreatment and extortion by staff of different agencies at Entebbe International Airport. We have taken keen interest in accusations aimed at particularly Immigration Staff and are already taking measures to have them addressed justly and swiftly.

The Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration Control (DCIC) has opened an e-Passport enrollment center at the Uganda High Commission in Ottawa-Canada. This center will enroll Ugandans living and working in Canada with the newly introduced East African Community Electronic Passports. The High Commission of Ottawa is also accredited to Cuba and The Bahamas.
