A refundable security deposit made by all work permit applicants. The security bond is no longer a requirement for obtaining an Entry / work permit. The following are requirements for security bond refund.

1. Cover letter requesting security bond refund (this should include bank details)
2. original security bond receipt.
3. Filled in Security bond refund form
4. previous / Current immigration status of claimant.
5. Passport bio data page

The claimant should go to Head Quarters Immigration office in Kampala and submit documents. A date when the refund process will begin will be communicated to the public.
