A minor is ineligible for Dual Citizenship until they are 18 years of age. Failure to declare the other passport will lead to confiscation of the Ugandan Passport and/or prosecution

Applicants submit their applications personally to the embassy for verification of the applicant

It takes 10 working days to process a passport with the regular fees, Ugx 250,000 and 2 working days for the Express Process at Ugx 400,000. This is after enrollment process is complete.
