How do I replace my previously Manual Certificate of Residence for Life and Citizenship (Digitisation)?
All registered and naturalized citizens with manual certificates applying for e-passports must first submit their information online to undergo the digitization process as follows: The same process applies to applicants who hold manual certificates of Residence for life
Step one: Submit application online https://www.visas.immigration.go.ug/#/apply
Step two: Generate and print payment slip of 100,000ugx upon submission of application
Step three: Pay in the bank
Step four: Attach hard copies of all previous passports with old immigration facilities and documents uploaded online to the citizenship
Step five: Upon receipt of approval feedback on submitted email, come to immigration with the approval letter for biometric capture and subsequent issuance of the Certificate
