When I submit an application, I get a message that another application already exists

If you are receiving an error message that says "Cannot apply twice with the same passport for the same visa or permit type (same passport number, same document type and same issuing country)" it is because you already have a pending application on the system.

For retrieving the application Id please go to https://www.visas.immigration.go.ug/#/forgot

Also, this can be done in the links found under:

1. "Extend your application"

2. "Replace your application"

3. "Manage your application"

You should provide the email used for the application process. All the application Ids associated to that email will be sent.
